New solar panel on the way and a few interesting websites
The website that posted this video is a pretty good one. http://www.growandmake.com
and also this is a cool reference site. http://green.wikia.com/wiki/Wikia_Green
After I get the solar charger in a few days I will test it and give a review.

Current reading material

I am currently reading this book and is a great source of first hand knowledge of living the good life and will give you a good belly laugh every other page or so.
You can buy it on Amazon:

Solar powered cell phone battery charger
I bought a cell phone charger a year or so ago and never really used it. Now that I have dug it out, I know realize it is like finding a 20 dollar bill you had stashed somewhere. Anyway, this is the charger that I have. It has worked great the last few days and charged up my phone for a few days. Now I am going to continue to use it and in a weird way, make my cell phone green, at least on my end of the line.
Just starting!
If you couldn't tell, I have just started this blog. I am going to share the great things in this world that I have discovered and share them with you. I hope that my scientific inexperience will not drive you away, but be a learning experience for us all.
My hopes are to share thoughts of me and others on how to grow food organically and locally, conserve water and not pollute the one thing we all take for granted, show you how we can all convert or build sustainable and renewable energies for our homes, and just to prove a point, I would like everyone to understand the importance of one small step, bees, in nature and show how crucial that link is in everything that we eat.
